Increasingly our shopping experience is starting to resemble more of a free for all than a tailored approach and although big department stores have a massive range of clothing, it’s often no longer unique. Department stores have also become somewhat sterilised and we find ourselves being herded through crowded changing rooms and on to the checkout with not so much as a hello.

We hear from owner Jane Levingston, who tells us: “I wanted to create a bespoke form of shopping – the chance to escape the frenzy of everyday life in favour of a civilised haven. Angies is a place to relax, unwind and browse, somewhere you can come and spoil yourself, and others, with things that are beautiful, inspiring and above all, unique.” At Angies you’re surrounded by gorgeous treats and gifts; collections are sourced from around the world and Jane is constantly finding new items so no visit will ever be the same.

Jane continues: “We want to transport you into another world, a kinder, gentler place where you can let your hair down and relax.
