Experience a lesson in gin distillery

Having already found great success with ‘Still on the Move’ – The UK’s first mobile gin distillery that’s been popping up in all sorts of locations, including the HMS Ocean where one bottle was presented to HM The Queen herself – Devon Distillery is proud to be opening Devon Gin School in the Shops at Dartington.

Founder Cosmo Caddy tells us: “We will be hosting individuals and groups of people to come and learn about gin making, produce their own bottle of gin under our gentle guidance and even design their own labels”, allowing you to discover the art of gin making and create your own bespoke bottle of handcrafted gin.

Gin has certainly seen a surge in popularity of late, perhaps thanks to the recent weather, or simply because it’s delicious; either way, by learning the nuances behind gin’s distilling process, you’ll gain a new-found appreciation for this timeless spirit and the art that precedes it.
