What do you love most about playing rugby for the Chiefs?
“The closeness of the team, they’re like a big extended family. I love the everyday stuff – the training, the banter. We’re all pretty close and hang out, that’s probably the biggest thing I love about it.”
What do you love most about Devon?
“I love going to the beach in the evening. Devon has got everything – really good town centre, bars, restaurants. There are so many places you can access… we like going on day trips, anywhere we can explore. There’s so much to do, and the summer – it’s great!”
What’s your favourite beach?
“Budleigh Salterton – get the blanket out and chill in the afternoons! Hmmm, there are so many! Woolacombe, Branscombe’s good too!”
Favourite restaurant?
“Jack in the Green and The River Exe Café…”
Favourite place to visit in Devon?
“Salcombe – I like Garra Rock on a nice sunny day.”
How do you unwind in your time out of training or playing?
“I like exploring Devon, or going to play golf with the other Chief lads. There are loads of good golf courses around.”
If you weren’t a rugby player, what do you think you would be?
“If you asked me seven years ago I’d have said a P.E teacher – yeah, I’ve always loved sport, I’ll go with that!”
Most important question last… How should you eat a scone? Jam or Cream first?
“Cream first, no doubt 100%, hahaha!
