With a heritage in shoes spanning four generations, White & Son Shoes bring a wealth of expertise to their store in Sidmouth. The present owner Steve White’s great grandfather established the company in Dorchester in the early 1880’s and since then the shop has continued to go from strength to strength.

Earlier this year, the very best from across the footwear sector met at the seventh Annual Footwear Industry Awards 2018. And White & Sons Shoes Sidmouth were among those lucky enough to take home a gold award, clinching the top spot in the Ladies Independent Footwear Retailer of the Year category. Owner Steve White and Manageress Anne tell us: “We are immensely proud to have received such a sought-after award, for an independent shop in Sidmouth to be voted the Ladies Independent Retailer of the Year against the best shops in the UK is a huge achievement for us.”
